Mr. Michael Lazar was the Chairman of the Town of Dewitt Planning Board when he resigned after serving 28 years. He held the Chair position for the last 14 years. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1965 with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and had a career in real estate development, commercial construction and property management.
He has worked for both Pyramid Companies and Pioneer Companies. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
Mr. Lazar has been a private pilot since 1974 with ratings for land and sea aircraft, multi-engine and instrument flying a small twin engine Piper aircraft.
