TERMINAL TICKETING

Welcome to Syracuse Hancock International Airport. All airline and baggage check-in occurs on the first level of the airport. After entering through our main entrance, which is door three, you will enter our grand hall. You will be in the center of the terminal. To your right of the main entrance are Allegiant, JetBlue, and American. The farthest distance is less than 322 feet.

To your left of the main entrance are United, Southwest, Breeze, Delta, and Frontier. The farthest distance is less than 353 feet.

SECURITY CHECKPOINT

After completing check-in, return to the grand hall to find the escalators leading up to the security checkpoint, which is located on the second level of the airport. The distance from the main entrance to the base of the escalators is 79 feet. Two Flight Information Display monitors are located to the left of the base of the escalators. The length of the escalators from bottom to top are 37 feet, and they take approximately 21 seconds to ascend.

If you would prefer to use the elevator, this can be found behind the escalators to the right. The distance from the base of the escalators to the elevators is approximately 128 feet.

When approaching the security checkpoint, please check your boarding pass to ensure you enter the correct lane. Our Transportation Security Administration partners will open and close lanes to accommodate passenger volume throughout the day. After completing your security screening, you will be standing in the center concourse.

CONCOURSE A DEPARTURES

After completing your security screening, the hallway leading to Concourse A is located to your right. Gates for American Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Frontier Airlines, and Allegiant Air are located in Concourse A. The length of the hallway leading to Concourse A is 369 feet. Once you arrive in Concourse A, you will arrive at a T-intersection. Gates one through fourteen are located to your left. The farthest distance is less than 491 feet. The nearest bathrooms are located ahead on your left, and no farther than 76 feet away.

CONCOURSE B DEPARTURES
After completing your security screening, the hallway leading to Concourse B is located to your left. Gates for United and Delta are located in Concourse B. The length of the hallway leading to Concourse B is 318 feet. Once you arrive in Concourse B, you will arrive at a T-intersection. Gates twenty through twenty seven are located to your right, and farthest distance is 401 feet. The nearest restrooms are located 203 feet ahead on your left.

CONCOURSE A ARRIVALS

Gates one through fourteen lead to a set of four exit portals which serve as the boundary between the secure and public sides of the airport. The farthest distance you may be from these exit portals after exiting your aircraft is 578 feet. When walking towards the exit portals, the nearest restrooms will be on your right. The farthest distance to these restrooms is less than 148 feet.

CONCOURSE B ARRIVALS

Gates twenty through twenty seven lead to a set of four exit portals which serve as the boundary between the secure and public side of the airport. The farthest distance you may be from these exit portals is 521 feet. When walking towards the exit portals, the nearest restrooms will be on your right. The farthest distance to these restrooms is less than 202 feet.

BAGGAGE CLAIM TERMINAL A

Upon exiting the exit portals, you will be located in Terminal A, and your baggage claim is located one level below you, on the first level of the airport. Upon exiting the exit portals, the escalators, elevators, and stairs are less than 144 feet away. If you choose to ride the escalator, it is 39 feet long and takes 20 seconds to descend. After descending the escalator, elevator, or stairs; the baggage claim is less than 163 feet away.

BAGGAGE CLAIM TERMINAL B

Upon exiting the exit portals, you will be located in Terminal B, and your baggage claim is located one level below you, on the first level of the airport. Upon exiting the exit portals, the escalators, elevators, and stairs are less than 114 feet away. If you choose to ride the escalator, it is 39 feet long and takes 22 seconds to descend. After descending the escalator, elevator, or stairs; the baggage claim is less than 206 feet away.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION-RIDESHARE

If you are hailing a ride via a Transportation Network Company such as Uber or Lyft, this pickup area is called the Rideshare lot, and is located to your right after exiting the terminal no matter what terminal you exit. If you are exiting the Terminal A baggage claim area, the farthest distance to the Rideshare lot is 1103 feet. If you are exiting the Terminal B baggage claim area, the farthest distance to the Rideshare lot is 231 feet.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION-TAXI

If you are hailing a ride via taxi, the taxi lineup area is located outside of the Terminal A baggage claim area. If you are exiting the Terminal A baggage claim area, the nearest taxi lineup area is no farther than 84 feet away and slightly to your left. If you are exiting the Terminal B baggage claim area, the nearest taxi lineup area will be to your right, and is no farther than 134 feet away.
