Important Information Regarding Security Checkpoints
All passengers departing out of Syracuse Hancock International Airport should follow each airline’s recommended guidelines for when to arrive at the airport prior to a scheduled flight. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recommends that passengers arrive at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled departure time. Delays may change a flight’s actual departure time, but it is important to note that the security checkpoint follows the regularly-scheduled departure times of our airline partners, and is not open 24/7.
Syracuse Hancock International Airport has one centralized security checkpoint that screens passengers traveling out of all gates. The checkpoint is accessed through the central lobby of the airport and is located on the second floor.
