Eric Ennis serves as the Chief Development Officer for the City of Syracuse in the Office of the Mayor, overseeing strategic economic development and growth initiatives, and intergovernmental affairs. In this role, he assists with coordinating efforts designed to strengthen the local economy, support business attraction and retention, and enhance the City’s overall competitiveness; as well as collaborating with elected officials, regional partners, businesses, and community stakeholders to develop and implement policies, programs, and long-range plans that drive economic opportunity and growth. Eric is a Central New York native and serves on the board of directors with local organizations including CNY Works, Adapt CNY and the Syracuse Urban Partnership. He is a graduate of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, and the University at Buffalo with a degree in environmental design and urban policy.
