Syracuse, New York – The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) announced today the completed installation of the 2025-2026 SYR Community Art Program display at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR). Spread across both the pre- and post-security checkpoint areas of the airport, the display features artwork from over 200 local artists who may not otherwise have a platform to display their artistic talents.

Initially launched in 2020, this year’s display program features newly created artwork from 11 Central New York organizations. Organizations represented in this year’s program include school districts, organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, youth advocacy organizations, Girl Scout troops, juvenile detention centers, and senior living facilities.

“Our airport is the gateway to Central New York and beyond, and it should be a reflection of this beautiful community we serve,” said SRAA Customer Experience Manager Matt Szwejbka, who oversees the Community Art Program. “Showcasing our region’s artistic talents via the SYR Community Art Program is a meaningful way for these community members to have their artwork seen by millions of travelers each year.”
