Syracuse, New York – The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) will hold a press event for the Southwest Airlines inaugural flight to Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) on Sunday, November 14^th at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR). This flight marks the first ever regularly scheduled flight for Southwest Airlines at SYR. The event will feature speeches from and interview opportunities with elected officials, local business leaders, airport leadership, and representatives from Southwest Airlines.

WHERE:       Meet at the TSA security checkpoint to receive gate passes (please see RSVP requirements below), event to be held at Gate 1

WHEN:          Sunday, November 14, 2021, 10:15 AM meet at TSA security checkpoint, 10:45 AM press event commences

RSVP:            Must RSVP by 3:00 PM Thursday, November 11^th(please see RSVP requirements below)

All media representatives must RSVP by 3:00 PM Thursday, November 11^th with the following information: your birth date, your name exactly as it appears on the photo identification you intend to use the day of the event, and what gender you are listed as on that photo identification. Members of the media must bring that photo identification the day of the event. Only those members of the media who RSVP by the date listed above will be granted access to the event.
