Syracuse, New York – The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) will host two media opportunities for the 2021 Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) Triennial Full-Scale Exercise. The first will be a media day on Monday, August 9^th, at 1:00 PM. At this event, the media will have an opportunity for an up-close view of the live fire simulator for this year’s drill and the chance to interview airport leadership. The second media opportunity will be the full-scale exercise on Saturday, August 14^th, at 9:00 AM. Leadership will not be available to comment during the full-scale exercise, but filming of the event will be permitted in the designated media area.

WHERE:       Park and meet at Cell Phone Lot (see attached) to be escorted onto the airfield

WHEN:          Monday, August 9, 2021, 12:45 PM pick up at Cell Phone Lot, 1:00 PM start

**Triennial Full-Scale Exercise**

WHAT:          Syracuse Hancock International Airport Triennial Full-Scale Exercise

WHERE:       Park and meet in the C&S parking lot (please also see attached) to be escorted to the designated media area

WHEN:          Saturday, August 14, 2021, 8:45 AM pick up at C&S lot, 9:00 AM start of drill. B-roll filming for 45 minutes-1 hour, then escort back to C&S parking lot

All media representatives must RSVP to either or both events to allow the SRAA to plan for proper escorting onto the SYR airfield. Media credentials are required for each media representative.
