Syracuse, New York –The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) announced today that Frontier Airlines will launch year-round, nonstop service from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) to Miami International Airport (MIA) this fall. The twice weekly service will begin November 1, 2021.
“We are pleased to see Frontier Airlines add another great leisure destination to their nonstop offerings out of Syracuse,” said SYR Executive Director Jason Terreri. “Central New Yorkers – regardless of time of year – will now be able to escape to South Florida in a matter of a few hours.”

With this announcement, two airlines will now provide nonstop service from SYR to MIA. Of the 27 nonstop destinations available from SYR, nine are to the state of Florida.
